So, I biked down to the inlet to do some fishing between storms- nothing biting. I threw everything at 'em; spoons, plugs, bucktails.
The swell is picking up. Windswell lines are looking a bit more organized, with a few sets causing me to run up the rocks to not get wet. haha
The build should continue into tonight- hopefully the wind will swing around more westerly for an evening go out. If not, tomorrow AM might have some little waves.
All-in-all.... maybe something to get wet.

NJ Surf Report Saturday May 31 2008
The wind is blowing out the S, maybe SSW, and its cold and grey. Its starting to build into the ankle to knee high range, but sloppy and not even rideable.
Wait for it...

No surf, so I started blogging
Hi All,
So summer is here and I'm already bored. After a really solid (consistant but not huge) winter of waves here in New Jersey, check out this Surfing Magazine article on NJ being the East Coasts best kept winter secret, the ocean has gone flat.
Because of the flatness and the resulting boredom, I decided to start writing about surfing/living/working on the beach in NJ. I guess its better than just drinking all day, but we will have to see.
I plan to have forecasts, reports (a couple times daily), pictures, and other stuff about Jersey surfing. Please check back regularly for updates.
